Our commitment

Professional management of electronic equipment, from pick-up through to final routing.

  • 01 / COLLECTION

    Organised collection

Pick-up and reception of your equipment according to its nature and volume.

  • 02 / TRACEABILITY

    Batch traceability

Identification, weighing and monitoring of equipment throughout its handling.

  • 03 / PROCESSING

    Adapted processing

Sorting, dismantling, reuse or secure processing depending on the equipment.

  • 04 / RECOVERY

    Optimised recovery

Routing equipment, components and materials to the most relevant solutions.

Our process

Five steps to turn waste into a resource.

Goods reception
Step 01

Goods reception

Our trucks collect your electronic waste — computers, servers, switches, routers, phones, GSM enclosures, circuit boards — directly from your site. Every delivery is tracked and secured.

Weighing & pre-sorting
Step 02

Weighing & pre-sorting

Upon arrival, the waste is weighed on an industrial scale and pre-sorted by equipment family. A precise waybill guarantees the traceability of every incoming flow.

Disassembly
Step 03

Disassembly

Our operators manually disassemble each piece of equipment to isolate the highest-value sub-assemblies: circuit boards, memory modules, drives, power supplies, and cabling.

Board separation & sorting
Step 04

Board separation & sorting

Circuit boards are sorted by category according to their material potential. Copper, aluminum, and ferrous components are routed to their respective channels.

Preparation for recovery
Step 05

Preparation for recovery

Each metal category is sorted, packaged and identified by batch in suitable containers: labelled big-bags, drums or skips. The materials are then prepared for shipment to French and European recovery channels. This rigorous packaging facilitates flow tracking and ensures clear management right through to their final destination.

Recovery chain

Recovery of professional electronic waste

Handling a professional WEEE flow follows a continuous chain: on-site collection, reception and weighing, pre-sorting by category, then equipment dismantling.

Dismantling separates the sub-assemblies: electronic boards, cables, metal structures and parts, data carriers. Each flow is then sorted, packaged and prepared before being routed to the matching recovery channel, with reuse remaining the priority whenever equipment is technically reusable.

Equipment containing storage media undergoes secure data destruction before any processing, while still-functional hardware is sorted for IT equipment reuse rather than material recovery.

Dedicated division

IT equipment reuse

Before any material recovery, we identify equipment that is still functional. Computers, monitors, servers: tested, verified, and warranted — to give the hardware a second life and reduce the environmental impact of the digital industry.

  • Complete functional diagnostics and testing
  • Secure data erasure, report included
  • Functional testing and restoration
  • Return to the second-life market

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

Extend equipment life. Preserve resources.

Every electronic device requires materials, energy and natural resources to manufacture. By prioritising reuse whenever possible, followed by dismantling and material recovery at end of use, SFDE helps keep these resources within the economic cycle.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Preserve value before creating waste.

01

Extend useful life

When equipment still has functional potential, giving it a second life can delay replacement and the manufacture of new hardware.

02

Reduce demand for new resources

Copper, aluminium, steel and other materials already present in equipment can be separated and routed back into recovery channels.

03

Make better use of existing materials

Dismantling and sorting turn complex equipment into more homogeneous fractions, each routed towards an appropriate solution.

04

Reduce electronic waste

Reuse, component recovery and material recovery help limit the share of equipment sent directly for disposal.

The best electronic waste is the one whose value can still be preserved.
